Life Drawings on Board

These artworks are made from live models using watercolor, ink, oil pastel, and colored pencils.

The material is the inner cuts of passe-partout, rescued from a picture framing workshop where they were destined for disposal. Each piece carries its own history—various colors, unique dimensions and the traditional beveled edge. This surface is an invitation to improvisation and spontaneity.

Each is a singular encounter between the model, the support, and the artist.
